Vance (he/him) is an Architectural Partner and Vancouver Studio Chair at DIALOG, an integrated practice in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Planning, and Sustainability. Since joining DIALOG in 2005, Vance has progressed from Project Architect to Partner in 2015. He is passionate about mentoring young architects and is actively involved with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC) and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC).

Vance also dedicates his time to youth sports, having coached soccer for the Vancouver Athletic Football Club (VAFC) and the Britannia Community Centre. His commitment to social causes includes volunteering at the Vancouver Food Bank and the Food Stash Foundation. As a Board Member of the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA), Vance advocates for public transit investment and support. He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria. Vance is a registered Architect in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario, and a LEED Accredited Professional. He is dedicated to housing equity and leverages his expertise to support affordable housing initiatives, recognizing the critical need for stable housing for young families. Vance lives in Vancouver with his wife and their son and daughter.
