Help us raise $10,000 this Holiday Season to support Entre Nous Femmes Housing Society Residents!

We are creating a new Entre Nous Femmes Resident Wellness Fund, supporting activities contributing to residents’ health and well-being and improving social connections.

The new Resident Wellness Fund will support two initiatives in 2024: the Menstrual Equity Program, which will distribute free reusable and disposable menstrual products to residents who need them when they need them, and the Connecting Neighbours Program, which will provide small financial contributions to support resident-led activities in ENFHS housing communities.

We know that residents experience period poverty or the inability to purchase the menstrual products they need. When we carried out our Period Promise Pilot Project this year, residents overwhelmingly wanted us to continue to provide free reusable and disposable menstrual products, as they saw a marked improvement in their well-being and financial situation, enabling them to put their money towards other necessities, like food.

We also know that combatting social isolation means creating more opportunities for social connections. This past year, we’ve supported a weekend gardening party, summer barbeques, Halloween treat bags, and turkey dinners, all activities created and led by residents to connect with their neighbours.

We’d like to do more to support the women, children, single-parent families, seniors and other equity-deserving groups who call Entre Nous Femmes housing communities home. Your donation will make a difference.

Partner with us to improve social well-being and increase gender and menstrual equity!
