We're thrilled to announce a significant milestone in affordable housing development! Entre Nous Femmes Housing Society is honoured to be working with our partners, Hogan's Alley Society and the City of Vancouver to provide affordable housing in False Creek North at 450 Pacific Street in Vancouver.

We are pleased to partner with Hogan’s Alley Society (HAS), M'akola Development Services (MDS), Kindred Construction Ltd., along with organizations such as Hiy̓ám̓ ta Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Housing Society and MOSAIC BC, to provide deeply affordable homes for underserved communities, including women and gender-diverse groups, single-parent families, seniors, people with disabilities, and Indigenous, people of African descent and other equity-deserving groups in the City of Vancouver.

The upcoming seven-story rental building, designed by Public Architecture, will offer 91 affordable homes with more than a third dedicated to families and a number of fully accessible units. Of the 91 homes, 20% will be at deep subsidy rental rates, 50% at rent-geared-to-income, and 30% at Low-End Market. The building will include a diverse mix of layouts, including studios, one to three-bedroom apartments, and two and three-bedroom family units.

Congratulations to Brightside Community Homes Foundation and BC Indigenous Housing Society for their projects on the other City-owned lands at Expo and Beatty Streets! Great news for renters and those needing affordable housing in Vancouver!
