At Entre Nous Femmes Housing Society, we believe a thriving community is built on strong connections and well-being. Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, the Resident Wellness Fund funds initiatives that promotes residents’ health and well-being while fostering meaningful social connections. The Fund makes a meaningful impact by directly supporting two essential programs:

Connecting Neighbours Program

Our Connecting Neighbours Program provides small contributions to support resident-led activities that build community bonds. From barbecues to community gardening days and yoga sessions, these gatherings help neighbours connect, forge lasting friendships, and strengthen social ties. With 1 in 4 older adults and up to 15% of adolescents experiencing social isolation, your support is crucial in creating opportunities for meaningful, in-person connections that enhance well-being.

Period Promise Program

The Period Promise Program – our commitment to menstrual equity by providing free menstrual products to residents, breaking down financial barriers and ensuring access. Half of everyone who menstruates in BC, women, girls and gender-diverse people, have struggled to buy products at some point in their lives. Providing free products available when needed makes it easier for them to go to school, work, or contribute to their community. This year we supported 54 residents in receiving reusable period underwear and menstrual cup packages. We are also installing dispensers in every laundry room for dignified access to disposable products. We want to keep the program going for future years and need your help.
