Entre Nous Femmes Housing Society built Evelyn Estates in April 1993, naming it after Evelyn Zazulyk, the grandmother of Kathy Zazulyk, one of the Society’s long-standing residents.

The 36-unit townhouse complex is located in Surrey's bustling City Centre area, close to shopping, services, schools, parks and major bus routes. Evelyn Estates is within walking distance of Cindrich Elementary School and a 5-minute bus ride to Queen Elizabeth Secondary School and Surrey Memorial Hospital.  King George Skytrain station is a 15-minute bus ride away.

Building amenities include private courtyards, a shared courtyard, shared laundry facilities, an amenity room, and resident parking. Please note that this is not an accessible building, as there are no elevators, and some units have living areas spread over two floors.
