$250,000 grant from Surrey Homelessness & Housing Society

October 2, 2026

We’re incredibly grateful to have received a $250,000 grant from the Surrey Homelessness & Housing Society, with the support of the City of Surrey, through the 2026 Leading the Way Home Grants Program.

Our team was honoured to join fellow housing and community organizations at Surrey City Hall to celebrate this year’s grant recipients and the important work happening across Surrey to create and preserve housing.

For ENFHS, this funding will help advance the redevelopment of Jessica Place in Surrey, supporting our vision to replace 40 aging townhomes with over 600 affordable homes and create a stronger, more inclusive community for generations to come.

At a time when the need for affordable housing continues to grow, partnerships like these are critical to keeping projects moving forward.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Surrey Homelessness and Housing Society and the City of Surrey for investing in community housing and for their continued commitment to ensuring more people have a safe, secure and affordable place to call home.

Congratulations to all of this year’s grant recipients including Atira Women's Resource Society, New Hope Community Services Society, YWCA BC, Pacific Community Resources Society (PCRS), SUMS Place Society and Lookout Housing + Health Society.

We’re proud to be part of a community working together toward a future where everyone has a place to call home.
