Alice Sundberg

Alice (she/her) is a housing and community development consultant based in Vancouver, BC, with a long-standing connection to Entre Nous Femmes Housing Society. As a project manager, she was key in developing some of the Society’s first social housing buildings, including Alma Blackwell, Antkiw Court and Beatrice Terrace. Since 1981, Alice has been a dedicated advocate for affordable housing, serving as a Development Consultant for co-op and non-profit housing for 16 years and as the first Executive Director of the BC Non-Profit Housing Association (BCNPHA) for 11 years. In recognition of her contributions, she received BCNPHA’s Denise LeBlond Memorial Award in 2010. A certified adult educator since 1987, Alice has facilitated community consultations, workshops, and strategic planning sessions, as well as developed and co-taught courses in Langara College’s Social Housing Management Certificate Program. Her consulting work focuses on helping organizations and communities assess housing needs, address poverty, and develop housing solutions. Through her expertise in board development, housing feasibility studies, and strategic planning, Alice continues to make a lasting impact in the sector.
