Victoria Barclay

Victoria Barclay’s (she/her) work is grounded in her belief that strong communities are the key to happy populations. She is a Research Associate at Viewpoints Research where she conducts polling and market research for progressive clients across Canada. Victoria completed her Master of Arts in Sociology at the University of British Columbia where she investigated the housing situations of Indigenous, Black, and Women of Colour after fleeing violence in Toronto and Vancouver. She also supported the Finding Rooms for Families study which examined how the National Occupancy Standards influence the housing options available to women after violence in these cities. Victoria served a two-year term as an Ex-Officio Board Director at Habitat for Humanity Canada. She is a member of the Canadian Council of Young Feminists and the Race and Ethno-Cultural Equity Advisory Committee at the City of Vancouver.
